What should I wear to class?

For pole: Short shorts and a sports bra are best since you need your skin to stick to the pole, but you can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Knee Pads are recommended for many classes, bring your own our borrow some from us if needed. Should you decide to purchase your own pair we sell them in our boutique.

For aerial: Form-fitting leggings and tops that cover your armpits are best to avoid chafing. Avoid billowy clothes, zippers, and jewelry. Please tie your hair back.

For bellydance: Wear anything that makes you comfortable. Stretch pants and a sports bra are a great option.

What type of shoes should I wear or should I go barefoot?

Exotic platform heels are best for pole classes, and shoes are recommended for most pole choreography classes. We have a few pairs available to borrow if you don’t have your own yet, and we sell some in our boutique, we invite you to browse our selection of exotic and platform heels. Socks or bare feet are recommended for all other classes.

What is the difference between open pole and a regular class?

Open pole is an unstructured class where you can practice what you’ve learned in your pole classes. An instructor will be there but this is a time for you to work on your personal goals. You will need to have taken at least one pole class or have instructor approval prior to attending open pole. Regular classes are structured and taught by an instructor. You will be guided through a warm-up, choreography or series of tricks, and cool-down.

Are men allowed to take classes?

Of course! Pole fitness is for all genders. We strive to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
